Our love for traveling started twenty years ago in a plane somewhere in the skies of South America when a man showed us his passport stamped in several Antarctic scientific bases. We immediately decided to go there. That was the beginning of numerous adventurous trips to many remote parts of the world. After the Antarctic, other destinations like Alaska, the Kuril Islands, Chukotka, the Pribilofs, the Aleutians, the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, the Weddell Sea, the South Sandwich Islands, the Subantarctic Islands of New Zealand and Australia, Greenland, Nunavut and the Labrador sea of Canada and many others places more or less known followed each other on the seven continents.
Following the nomenclature of the Travelers Century Club, we visited 76 countries. If we follow the listing of the Most Traveled People Association, it rises to 161.
Our pictures appear on a regular basis on the UNESCO World Heritage website as well as on brochures and exhibitions related to conservation.
